Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Happy New Year everyone!

Yes, the weather outside is frightful. It has been f…ing cold in Oslo the last week. And two days ago it started snowing as well. I was so looking forward to escaping winter in Oslo by flying off to Singapore with my great travel buddies Grybetrotter and Jobetrotter.
But then a bad hip and a stupid infection showed up and put a stop to my first trip to Asia. Six plus seven hours flight time and four hours in Dubai airport, did not seem tempting with fever, backpain and little or no energy. But the thought of a chilled chardonnay in 30c with the view below made it a really hard choice to decide to stay at home…

This means – if you want to read about how it is like to wheel around in Singapore – you have to follow Grybetrotter instead. And you have to be able to read Norwegian. Or use Google translate. Enjoy!
Because I am here instead…
Stuck with a fever in my slightly too cold apartment in Oslo. But even if it is cold inside, I have absolutely no plans on going outside before I get a severe case of cabin fever instead. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Fortunately we have something called online grocery shopping.
Tomorrow the food will come to my door. Or into my kitchen actually. And instead of enjoying the Singapore Sling, my plan is to blog about the travels I did in 2015. Because in 2015 I traveled so much, that I did not have time to blog about it. First world problems, I know…

So here it goes – these are the destinations I visited in 2015:
- Miami Beach, US
- Key West, US (well technically it was in 2014…)
- Madrid, Spain
- Barcelona, Spain
- Rome, Italy
- Salzburg, Austria – read about the trip in the following 2 blogposts: “Wheeling Salzburg” & “What to buy or not?”
- Stavern & Larvik, Norway
- Zürich, Switzerland – read about the first trip in the following 3 blogposts: “The Kind Samaritans”, “With One Hour Extra” & “What to do or not?”
- New York, US
- Paris, France
- Thun, Switzerland
- Bern, Switzerland
- Lund, Sweden
- Meloneras (Gran Canaria), Spain
- Arguineguin (Gran Canaria), Spain
- Puerto Mogan (Gran Canaria), Spain

And in the next blogpost (that will hopefully be finished before the cabin fever arrives), you will have some of the ‘Best of’ and ‘Worst of’ from the different journeys. And maybe some separate blogposts from the most important destinations. Until then…
Wow. You really do get around. I hope your feel better soon and start writing. I want to read more about your travels.
